Girls Spa Trip of Dreams 💫

Some trips are nice. Some are memorable. And then there are the ones where you all look at each other halfway through and say, “Why don’t we do this more often?”

That was us. Five mums, in desperate need of some relaxation and wind down time. One epic destination. And hands down, one of the most incredible trips we’ve ever had — Therme București.

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we’d been dropped into a tropical holiday instead of a spa just outside a busy city. Palm trees everywhere, warm glowing pools, that calm spa smell in the air — instant relaxation. Phones forgotten. Stress cancelled. Main character energy activated.

We spent hours floating between thermal pools, laughing way too loudly, catching up on life, and pretending we weren’t already planning our next visit. Every pool felt like a different vibe: some peaceful and quiet, others buzzing with energy, music, and that holiday-with-your-best-friends feeling. Whether we wanted to chill or chat, Therme somehow nailed both.

And don’t even get me started on the saunas. Each one was its own experience — themed, atmospheric, and honestly kind of magical. We went from feeling cosy and relaxed to refreshed and glowing, like we’d just hit a reset button we didn’t know we needed. Walking out between sessions, wrapped in robes, hair tied up, feeling calm and carefree? Elite feeling.

Let's not forget to mention the cocktails that can be ordered and enjoyed from inside the pool! Perhaps one of our favourite parts was sat enjoying an ice cold cocktail from a perfect temperature pool.

The spa itself is only a 10 minute Uber from the airport and so reasonably priced. We couldn't believe how good the trip was for the price! After the spa, we spent the evening exploring the city of Bucharest and enjoying the local cuisine before heading back to our hotel to chat long into the night about anything and everything. A trip that exceeded so many of our expectations, and one we are already planning to re-visit!
